northern nevada real estate for twenty ten
Getting a loan for a home in this day and age is a little more difficult since the mortgage meltdown. Mortgage companies are now much more careful to loan money for a home than they were in past years. However, there are many programs still available, some new and some consistent with what was offered in the past. There are the standard loans, conventional, fha and va, and then there are other loans available to meet the needs of just about any buyer or any situation. Other loans a buyer can obtain include the Nevada Guaranteed Rural Housing Loan and the Nevada Housing Bond Program. Whatever situation you have, give me a call and I can discuss your needs and then refer you to the appropriate specialist in the mortgage field. I have several very good people I work with, including some that are based right here in my complex at Dickson Realty. One suggestion I will make is that you try to use a local office when seeking a mortgage. Beware of the many companies that can be found on the Internet that sound to good to be true! When dealing with a local company, their reputation is much more at risk when it comes to word of mouth. This usually leads to better service and a higher degree of satisfaction than a company that has no connection to a local community. Below are links that may be of some help when it comes to the process of deciding on what mortgage company to go with. Feel free to call me to talk more about this.
